    solitary heroes maintain control of time, if not space

    Displayed as a series, each feed begins in real time but slowly progresses down its own path. In each sequence, we see a solitary white male in a small room, engaged in a repetitive act. As each cinematic hero repeats his action, the seconds on the time stamp progress - one second per bounce of a ball, completion of a paced circle, or per drag on a cigarette. These feeds have been featured alone or together for CibertArt Bilbao, Arts Interactive (Boston), Los Angeles Contemporary Projects, the MP4 fest at the Silver Lake Film Festival, and online for Bodybuilder and Sportsman Gallery in Chicago.
