    measuring Cambridge with a broom and a microphone

    In the video track, a stationary camera records my description, with a wet broom, of a square plot of ground. As I leave the picture, the audio track records my progress through the city on a long walk, during which I occasionally stop to repeat the same, methodical sweeping motion. Audio and video are reunited upon my return to the studio, where I conclude the piece with one final re-inscription for the camera.
