On April 20, 2005, several pairs of individuals walked for an hour around Bratislava, using that day's copy of the SME newspaper as a map. The walk resulted in a new distribution of that day's paper a year later, with new images.

Instructions:

Work with a partner. You'll need a camera and a copy of today's paper.
Pick an article from the paper. Then pick a direction to walk.
Take a photo of the direction in which you will be walking.
Then, one person should read the chosen article out loud to the other as you both walk. Only walk when there are words to be read.
When you reach the end of the article, stop.
Repeat this process for 60 minutes - all groups should rejoin at the starting point.


CHRONOZONE explores the potential of simulated or imaginary trans-atlantic telecommunication. Collaborators in Slovakia and the United States arrange for simultaneous actions, which are later displayed as the result of live connections.
